Why Choose Leesport Animal Hospital?
A Family-Friendly Hospital Passionate About Quality Care for Your Pets
Leesport Animal Hospital opened in 1996 as a small animal practice with one doctor and a small staff. It was, at the time, limited to routine care. Since then, it has grown to the full-service, AAHA-Accredited veterinary hospital it is today. Our veterinarians have over 40 years of combined experience. Dr. Priebe came to Leesport in 2001 and expanded our veterinary services in surgery, ultrasound, and internal medicine. Dr. Elo joined the practice in 2004 and Dr. Wich in 2012, further adding knowledge, skills, and ability to serve our clients and their pets. Our staff has grown as well. We have six certified veterinary technicians and six very experienced and knowledgeable customer service representatives. In 2014, we became certified by the American Animal Hospital Association, joining other similar elite veterinary hospitals across the nation who are committed to the utmost standards of veterinary care. Only 17% of hospitals earn this distinction.
We have a pet and family-friendly atmosphere and consider you and your pets part of that. When you enter our reception area, you will be greeted warmly, and your pet will be treated as one of our own. Additionally, we will treat your pet as an individual with specific problems and needs. He or she will get a complete physical exam by our doctors. Our job is to educate and advise you as to the very best veterinary care available for your pet. We will always include you in the decision process to determine the best care. If your pet is ill, we will act diligently to obtain a diagnosis, prognosis, and outline the appropriate treatment plan. If he or she requires anesthetic or a dental or surgical procedure, rest assured we have the latest in monitoring equipment and training to result in as safe and successful an outcome as possible. When we have reached our limits of expertise, we will not hesitate to bring in or refer you to a specialist. When your pet’s condition is beyond our collective healing power and is terminally ill or suffering, we will act with compassion and assist you in making the often-difficult life-ending decision.
We welcome you and your family to our hospital. We hope you are as passionate and dedicated to keeping your pet healthy as we are. We will always strive to do our best. We look forward to caring for your pets and including you and yours into our family.
