Dr.
Jim Priebe is a native of Berks County and a graduate of Exeter
High School. He lives in Womelsdorf with his wife, their two daughters,
two golden retrievers, two cats, and two goldfish. After receiving a
Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management from West Virginia
University and a Master of Science degree in Animal Science from Texas
A&I
University, he worked as a wildlife biologist for Harrison Ranches
in
Texas. He also served as research fellow for Caesar Kleberg Wildlife
Research Foundation. Several years later he went back to school and
obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and a Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine from Texas A&M University, graduating with high honors.
Afterward, he did an internship at Colorado State Veterinary Teaching
Hospital before entering private practice in 1992. He practiced in Altoona
for five years before returning to the area. His special interests are
in internal medicine, surgery, and diagnostic ultrasound. His favorite
pastimes revolve around his family, pets and the outdoors.
Dr
Tanya Elo (nee Clouser) is a native of Schuylkill
County. She graduated from Blue Mountain High School in 1993. She
earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from
Albright College in 1997. She earned her DVM from the
Ohio State University School in 2001. Dr. Elo worked in the Washington
D.C. area for 3 years before returning to the area. She currently
resides in Schuylkill County with her husband, two adorable sons, and
2 cats : Clark and Prozac.
